What is Tezos?

Tezos a blockchain platform for assets and applications. The Tezos crypto-currency $XTZ allows holders a vote in the future of the platform, as well as being used in the growing ecosytem of Tezos applications, including NFT marketplaces, minting sites, lending to gain interest, play-to-earn games, and more.

To interact with Tezos smart contracts (buying NFTs, minting NFTs, etc.) you need a web3 Tezos wallet.
A wallet will allow you to hold tezos and use it to approve various smart contracts.
